A clear route should work for everyone.
We aim to make Gael Talent Bridge usable for people using keyboards, screen readers, zoom, different devices and different ways of interacting with the web.
Last reviewed: August 2026
Our target
We aim for conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. WCAG is a technical standard, so conformance depends on ongoing testing as content and features change.
What has been implemented in this build
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and native interactive controls.
- Visible focus states for keyboard users.
- Colour and contrast choices intended to support readable text and controls.
- Reduced-motion support for users who request it.
- Semantic page structure, including one main page heading and ordered subheadings.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
- Labels, required-field cues and error messaging patterns for forms.
- Responsive layouts intended to work at small screens and increased zoom.
Known limitations
This is a static demonstration build. Form submission, authentication, account recovery and Workspace functions are not live. Some future content, documents, third-party services or portal features may need additional accessibility testing before release. We will assess interactive components, downloadable materials and any third-party embed before relying on them for a core service.
Owner to confirm: completed manual keyboard, screen-reader, mobile and zoom testing; an accessibility contact; and a review process for future portal and third-party components.
Report a barrier
If you find a problem or need content in a different format, email info@gaeltalentbridge.ie or call +353 83 162 7586. Tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, the device/browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and how we can contact you. We aim to acknowledge accessibility enquiries within two working days and will work with you on a practical route.
Formal options
If a public-sector accessibility obligation applies to a specific service, there may be additional statutory routes. The appropriate route depends on the organisation and service. We welcome direct reports first so that barriers can be understood and addressed.
