Typical routes include engineering, surveying, architecture and construction-management qualifications. Membership or chartership through SCSI, Engineers Ireland, RIAI, CIOB or the relevant discipline can matter. Safe Pass and construction safety credentials are baseline site evidence; NEBOSH, IOSH, Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject and BIM tools are relevant when the role requires them.
Professional reference points include the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, Engineers Ireland, the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland and the Chartered Institute of Building.
Relevant setting, clear scope, named tools or standards where they matter, honest responsibility, and outcomes that can be explained under interview. We do not inflate experience to make a profile look neater than it is.
